Together with architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen, we explored two materials for The Drops: hand-blown Murano glass and a Mahogany Rose Brown varnished wood.
Three shapes that can be mix and matched or just be admired on its own.
Note that the Glass version is limited series of 20 and the Wood a limited series of 40.

In conversation with Vincent Van Duysen
"It's poetry in a small object that we're not wearing on our body, but that we're holding in our hands and that's part of our lives and our homes."

Wood and Glass
"We explored two materials: hand-blown Murano glass and a very dark polished wood. Glass, in my work, is almost immaterial. It is there and not there, transparent and floating, like a drop of water. Wood, on the other hand, is solid and grounded. By polishing the wood, we introduced a softness that balances the translucency of the glass. Together, the two create a kind of yin and yang. Light and weight. Fluidity and structure. harmonious duality that reflects how I see nature and form.” - Vincent Van Duysen

Handblown in Murano
The object we made feels like a pebble or a drop of water, organic, fluid, genderless. It’s an object you can hold, place anywhere, let it simply exist or carry something precious. A limited edition of 20 per size.
