Hand-Shaped Lighter Holder
We wanted to create an object that captured gesture. The result is two sculptural lighter holders that are directly shaped from Giovanni Leonardo Bassan's hands.
The process started physically and intuitively, through clay and moulds rather than digital sketches. After selecting the final forms, the pieces were 3D-scanned, capturing every line, imprint, and movement from the original gesture before being milled from solid brass blocks.
Each piece is unique and stamped with its number of the series
